Dr Andrew Johnson

Dr Johnson is a Consultant Anaesthetist and Intensivist who trained in London, Bristol and Oxford.

With a DPhil in physiology from the University of Oxford, Dr Johnson combines academic excellence with clinical expertise to deliver anaesthesia of the highest quality.

Dr Johnson has a special interest in using opioid sparing techniques for abdominal wall procedures wherever possible, including surgery to correct all types of hernia, promoting faster recovery and reducing post-operative complications.

Dr Johnson also works as a Cardiothoracic Anaesthetist and Cardiac Intensive Care Consultant, so has expertise in providing anaesthesia and peri-operative care, for patients with heart and lung disease.
